 Hi, this week at school are teacher challanged us to make a book review on the book we are reading called Magrit. Here it is.😀

Ice mammoth

  Week 4 in room one we did pice of writing about a mammoth that was stuck in the ice. We had to make sure that we used one exlamation mark, one quistion mark and at least one full stop. Here it is.😀

It was just a casual saturday morning, I was strolling through the antarctic as you do. I was walking until I fell over and slid down a hill and ended up in a cave. I stood up and had I look around before I climbed back up the hill then I saw a massive woolly mammoth. So I did what anyone would do and whipped out my turbo charged hair dryer that I keep in my back pocket and melted al the ice around the woolly mammoth. It took me about 5 hours to fully melt the all the ice around the woolly mammoth. I powered off my turbo charged hair dryer and put it back in may back pocket. Then I threw the beast over my shoulder and walked back to my dingy and chucked the mammoth on the back. Then I started up my trusty old dinghy and drove back home to New Zealand. I was about an hour away from home then I saw the coast guard behind me with its lights flaring. The got the loud speaker out and started yelling. “Pull Over!” I yelled “I WILL NEVER SURRENDER!” So I put the hammer down but they keeped on chasing me. I was going 80 knots per hour (150kph) In my little dingy and it sounded like it was going to explode. I eventually escaped the coast guard and made it back to shore. I pulled up to the dock and tied my dingy up then grabbed the mammoth and put it in the back of my trusty toyota hilux. I drove back to my house and backed up to my garage and threw it off.  I went inside and my partner said “You're finally back from the pub ayy” I said “I was in antarctica getting a woolly mammoth, it’s in the garage if you want to look at it” She said “ I think that you are a bit to drunk.” I said What are you on about. We went to the garage and I showed her. She said “What are you going to do with it now” I said “I’m going to sell it to some millionaire” I went back inside to my computer. I loaded up Trade Me and made a new listing for the woolly mammoth. I had to go and take so photos of the woolly mammoth for the listing. In the description I wrote, Massive real Woolly Mammoth fresh from antarctica. Only 4,000 years old still in mint condition, not many kms, diesel, 4,000 hp mean machine, 4wd and heated seats. I submit it and within a few minutes I had hundreds of questions asking “Where in the world did you get that from?” After one hour Joe Biden the president of the United States said he would buy it for $10 billion dollars for “research purposes” I said I will take the deal and now im $10 billion dollars richer.  This week in room one we have been learning about similes. We had to make a drawing about similes with a buddy so I was working with my friend Kobi. Here it is.😀

Boat Build Challange

G'day g'day people, hows in going. Anyways we were challenged to make a boat out of materials around the school  The challenge was between Room 6 and Room 5 and we are going to see how many of the boats will sink and how many will float. We will test them today. I called my boat "The Black Panther".

Book Day 2020

 Today at our school we had a book character day were we could come as a book character. I came as Billionaire Boy. Here is a document about my character.

I think that mobile phones are necessary.


Imagine being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no contact with anyone like family and emergency services , it would suck wouldn't it. I completely agree mobile phones are necessary and here are three reasons why I think mobile phones are necessary. 

Volcano

This week my teacher challenged my group to make a poster on tsunamis, volcanos or earthquakes. I made a poster on volcanoes. 

How to make a grilled chesse sandwich

How to make a grilled cheese sandwich

           Ingredients

Cheese of your choice any amount that you want.

2 pieces of Bread of your choice.

Butter.

A sandwich press.

Butter knife.

Parental supervision.

 Any ingredients you would want to add ect ham, tomato onion.

Step 1. Get your bread and butter and spread a thin coat of butter on the face of both pieces of bread with a butter knife .  

Step 2. Get your cheese of choice and add as much cheese as you would like on the face of one of the bits of bread on the opposite side to the butter. Make sure the butter is facing downwards . 

Step 3. Add the other piece of bread with the butter facing upwards.

Step 4. Place your sandwich carefully on the sandwich press.      (Make sure you have parental supervision)

Step 5. Leave on the sandwich press until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, then take your sandwich off the sandwich press. (Make sure you have parental supervision)

Step 6.  Eat your sandwich and enjoy.
